And that decision changed everything that followed.
Since entering sobriety, Darrah has dedicated her professional life to the work she wishes had been available to her during her own struggle. She holds a sober companion certification alongside formal training in addiction recovery support credentials built on top of the kind of firsthand understanding that no program alone can create.
She founded Sober Consulting NYC because she knows, from personal experience, what people in recovery actually need. Not what looks good on paper.
